Happy Easter!

Has everyone eaten their weight in chocolate yet? like I have? Well we did have five days!! What else were we supposed to do! :)

Well other than eating chocolate I have been madly crocheting my little fingers off!
We have decided to add some cute little crochet beanies to our facebook site to keep all your little ones heads warm this winter.

Now that Ive started making them Im addicted!! Waiting patiently for spotlight to open again tomorrow to buy more wool, ive run out!

Ive been busy making a few different designs in different sizes to put up on facebook as examples so that you can order from them in what ever colours you like.

We have also added some different hair clips in the shops. We have beautiful bows on snap and alligator clips, with different colours coming soon. If you have any colour preferences please let us know.

Once our jewellery supplies have arrived (hoping this week) we will be doing a give away here on the blog for all of our followers so keep a look out for our announcement guys!

GRAND OPENING SALE!

Yes you heard right guys!  GRAND OPENING SALE!

If we can get 200 'likes' on our face book page by Good Friday which is 3 days away we will be holding a sale with

20% off all items for the easter long weekend! Friday morning and ending tuesday night!

Please spread the word and tell all your friends to please 'like' us! We are getting some good feedback on our shop so we would love to see our likes get to 200!

We will be adding more new items over the Easter long weekend so make sure you stop by and have a look, and remember if you like any of our items but would love it in a different colour please let us know and we will do our best to make it happen. We would love to do custom orders to suit you.


Progress update -

The first stamping set arrived yesterday so we were able to have a go at stamping letters in a copper practice charm!  We both immediatly loved it and were so happy with how they both turned out, which means we are even MORE anxious for the rest of our equipment to arrive! Please come before the weekend so we can spend some of our easter holidays stamping silver!!
As soon as we have this practiced we will be putting samples up in the shops and of course showing you a few here. We will be using all sterling silver for our charms, pendants and chains with the option of a plated sterling silver chain if you would prefer. Here are our first goes!!  What do you think??

Speaking of our kiddies heres a cute pic of all of them facinated by Hunter as he was learning to crawl!

yep hes a crawling boy now and already pulling him self up! Too clever. Stop growing up Hunty!! xx

Its been so exciting for us to finally put them out there for people to see, we have been working on the items for months now, making sure everything was right and ready to go!
We really hope you like what you see.
We are already making more new stuff so both pages will be added to regularly, so keep checking back.

We love doing custom orders and are also happy to make hairclips and headbands in your daughters school colours which are sometimes hard to find so just give us a shout.

Still waiting for the postman to deliver our hand stamping supplies. Maybe next week, fingers crossed!
We are really excited to start making our necklaces!


Our business cards and hair clip cards have arrived so we have put our hair clips up in the shops for you to browse through. They are really cute and great present ideas with the hair clip boards.


We have started making hair clips with the press / snap silver clip. They are really cute and the perfect size for babies and toddlers.

Headbands will be coming soon. Lace and elastic bands with felt flowers, fabric flowers and rosettes. Super cute for babies!

And Bonds onesies and singlets will be arriving early this week. We cant wait to start stitching our ideas and designs on them. Will announce on the blog when they are available in the shops.

Welcome to Blue Sky Baby !

Hey there everyone!


This is the brand new blog of Blue Sky Baby! Let me explain a little bit about what we are all about. We are two friends, We call ourselves 'besties' :)  Danica and Alicia and we have started up our own etsy shop and facebook page where we sell our crafty designs.
We are two young mums who enjoy being home with our crazy but cute kiddies and loved the idea of setting up a shop of our handmade crafty handiwork while sipping a hot cuppa with our PJ's still on...


We decided to start a blog to let you all know of our upcoming products, specials we have going on, and to let you know whats been going on with us in our day to day lives. I'm sure we will have some classic kid stories to share and we might even put up some tutorials, recipes and anything we find that might interest any of you. We love being able to communicate to our readers out there (hi family who we have made log on and read this!) and cant wait to start this awesome adventure with you all.


Progress update -


We are waiting for the arrival of our business cards and Hair clip cards so that we can put our Hair clips up in the shop along with our cute Hair clip Boards that hold and display all your baby girls gorgeous hair clips! They are a great present idea especially with a few clips already on the board to get her collection started!

We have also started buying our equipment to start making our own HAND STAMPED JEWELLERY! We are crazy excited to be starting this as we have both always wanted a design of our own and soon .... we will be able to make them ourselves! And for all of you! We cant wait. Hurry up Mr Postman!


We also have some Bonds singlets and body suits ordered and on their way that we will be embellishing with our own designs for the little cuties in your life!

We are also doing custom prints for your baby's nursery! Miss Dani is a wizz on the computer and has come up with some great designs that we can personalise for your baby girl or boy!

We will be dividing our stuff up between the etsy shop and facebook page and adding more each time we finish making an item.  Please check back often to both sites as we will be adding more items all the time.
